题目：Capital Accumulation, Trade Pattern and Structural Change

摘要：

This paper focuses on the relation between capital accumulation, trade pattern and transformation of industrial structure. We discuss the dynamic behavior of a small-open economy in the alternative trade regimes using a multi-sector growth model. It is shown that capital accumulation plays a leading role in the process of structural transformation. Furthermore, trade pattern can significantly affects structural change. We show also that this simple model can mimic a typical pattern of change in industrial structure that has been observed in many developed economies

 

主讲人简介：

Yunfang HU is a professor at Kobe University. She received her PhD from Kobe University in 2004. Her papers are published in Journal of International Economics, Review of Development Economics, etc.
