题目：A Tale of Transition: Trends of catastrophic health expenditure and medical impoverishment in urban China, 1986-2009讲座摘要：
Since China liberalized its economy in 1978, its healthcare system had experienced two major cycles of reform: a market-oriented reform from 1985 to 2003; and a reemphasis on the government’s role in financing and delivering healthcare after 2003. Using micro-level data from the Urban Household Survey (UHS), this study investigates the trends in financial risk protection in urban China between 1986 and 2009. Three major findings emerge. First, the incidences of incurring catastrophic health expenditure and medical impoverishment in urban China both increased rapidly between 1986 and 2002, whereas they became fairly stable after 2003. Second, inequities in financial protection by income quintiles and geographic regions have greatly increased throughout this period; the reform after 2003 had limited impact on mitigating these inequities. Third, we find that employees of state-owned enterprises received better financial protection throughout. These findings hold lessons for achieving universal health coverage in developing countries.主讲人介绍：
傅虹桥博士，北京大学公共卫生学院新体制助理教授、副研究员。2018年7月毕业于大陆成人直播-成人直播中文 理论经济学（国家发展方向）专业，获经济学博士学位，博士论文获北京大学优秀博士论文奖。2015年10月至2017年2月，在美国哈佛大学公共卫生学院访问。主要研究方向包括：卫生经济学、卫生政策、互联网医疗，其研究成果发表在Lancet, Social Science & Medicine, Health Policy and Planning, 《经济学（季刊）》《中国人口科学》等杂志。目前，担任中国卫生经济学会理论与政策专委会秘书长、世界银行中国医改顾问、银川互联网医疗协会学术委员会副主任等学术兼职，同时担任Health Economics, Social Science & Medicine, Health Policy and Planning, Inquiry,《经济学（季刊）》等期刊匿名审稿人。
